MINERAL SPRING POOLS
The Mineral Springs system is a natural, simple way to automatically sanitize your pool water. Essential elements pass through the chlorine generator to automatically produce sanitizer at a level that is easily controlled. This system eliminates the need to purchase and handle chlorinating chemicals, which gives the benefit of chlorination without the hassle of adding chlorinating chemicals.

Mineral Springs uses high purity salt with no iron. Regular salt with iron creates a demand, scales generating equipment, and stains the pool. A chlorine generated pool that does not use Mineral Springs does not have the same soft feel, its pH fluctuates consistently, scale forms on the pool surface, in the pipes and filter, plus you have to clean the generator in muratic acid.

GETTING A LITTLE TECHNICAL
The Mineral Springs Program takes natural minerals and produces sanitizer through a process called electrolysis (the conversion of minerals to free available chlorine). The electrolysis of the minerals added to the water produce chlorine gas and sodium hydroxide. In the presence of water, chlorine gas forms hypochlorous acid, a chlorinating sanitizer. This is how sanitizer is naturally generated.
